Dsquared2 Green Wood edt is fresh, green, and woody in a way that feels clean, stylish, and a bit teasing. It was launched in 2019 and created by perfumer Daphné Bugey. It is made for men, but anyone who likes citrus, dry wood, and green energy can wear it. It clearly leans towards the classic masculine side.
The forest got a gym membership
First comes lemon, santolina, and bourbon pepper. It’s lively, green, and lightly spicy. Like stepping out of the shower, putting on a white t-shirt, and feeling unreasonably ready for the day.
Then come cedar, vetiver, and resin. Here the scent stands more upright. The wood is dry and clean. The vetiver adds an earthy tone. The resin warms everything up a bit, like sunlight on wooden paneling.
The base has cypriol, ambrox, and musk. After a while, it feels soft, dry, and close to the skin. Not loud. More like a low voice, good eye contact, zero stress.
Fresh, but with attitude
Green Wood is an eau de toilette with moderate longevity. Expect about four to seven hours on the skin. It’s most noticeable at the start, with fresh citrus and green notes. Then it settles closer to the skin with wood, musk, and ambrox.
