Sora Dora Gréasque enters like a fresh reply in a room full of tired answers. It smells of basil, mint, cassis, and warm sun-kissed skin. A bit of Provence. A bit of herbal crush.
This is an Extrait de Parfum from 2021. It was created by Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, and Camille Chemardin. Three names, one fragrance, a strong green pulse.
The opening is bright and lively. Italian bergamot meets basil, blackcurrant, and pepper. It feels cool, green, and lightly tart. Like opening a window to spring sunshine and freshly cut drama.
Then come clove, blackcurrant bud, galbanum, and peppermint. Here, Gréasque becomes sharper, more chic, more “you’ll ask what I’m wearing.” The mint is clear. The basil is bold. Cassis adds juice and color.
The base settles into violet, Virginia cedar, caramel, muscat sage, woody notes, and Haitian vetiver. It becomes dry, green, and a little sweet. Like wood, leaves, and caramel all in the same frame.
Gréasque is unisex. It leans slightly toward the classic masculine side, thanks to mint, galbanum, cedar, and vetiver.
But cassis, violet, and caramel soften it. Make it more open. More playful.
It suits you who want to smell clean, smart, and a little dangerous. You like green fragrances. You like when a perfume has personality. You like when people ask, but you answer just slowly enough, maybe a bit mysteriously.
Gréasque is best in spring and summer. Especially during the day, when the light is clear and your jacket feels too warm. It also works for early evenings, brunch, the office, park hangouts, and daytime dates.
At the beach, it favors herbs over coconut. At the gym, it calls for a light touch. On a date? Yes. It looks great up close and has just the right amount of its own will.
Longevity is moderate to good. For many, Gréasque lasts several hours, especially close to the skin. Projection is noticeable at the start, with fresh mint and basil leading the way.
Sillage is elegant and more controlled than wild. It leaves a trail but doesn’t shout across the table. Think smart presence. A green signature that follows you without taking over the whole room.
