Bond No. 9 Bleecker Street is an Eau de Parfum from 2005. It was created by David Apel. And yes, it has that expensive city vibe.
It opens green and crisp. Violet leaf, cassis, thyme, and blueberry enter like a group of friends heading to a wine bar. A bit too stylish. A bit too aware. Just right.
Then come cedar, jasmine, and cinnamon. The scent becomes warmer. More skin. More “I just threw something on,” yet everything fits perfectly.
The base settles into oakmoss, suede, patchouli, amber, vanilla, and caramel. It becomes soft, woody, and a little sweet. Like a green park bench in New York, but someone next to you has a better jacket.
Bleecker Street is unisex. It leans toward the classic masculine side, thanks to the wood, moss, suede, and dry green tone.
But don’t box it in there.
It suits you who like fresh scents with more style than a sports bottle. You want something clean, but with attitude. Something green, but not meek. Something sweet, but never sticky.
You’ll love it if you like fragrances that feel smart. A little urban. A little flirty. A scent for those who appreciate smart, stylish, and a bit edgy.
Spring and summer are its home. Early autumn works too, especially when the air turns cool and the jacket goes on. During the day it feels fresh and clear. In the evening, the base gains warmth.
The office? Yes.
The date? Definitely yes.
Dinner? Absolutely.
The gym? Only if you want to be that person.
The beach works with a light touch, but Bleecker Street thrives best in the city. At a café. At a meeting. On a walk. On a “just one drink” night that ends late.
The longevity is good. For most, it lasts several hours, often from workday to early evening. Projection is moderate, especially after the initial phase. The sillage is elegant and noticeable without taking over the whole room.
This is not a scent that shouts.
It walks beside you. Then people notice it. And by then, it’s already too late.
Top notes: Violet leaf, blueberry, cassis, and thyme.
Heart notes: Cedarwood, jasmine, and cinnamon.
Base notes: Oakmoss, suede, patchouli, amber, vanilla, and caramel.
