Shalimar Eau de Toilette from Guerlain is an oriental fragrance for women. It is Guerlains most successful and enduring fragrance that was created by Jacques Guerlain at a time when fascination of the Orient swept Europe. Inspired by the love of an Indian emperor for his wife, the Mumtaz-Mahal, which the Taj Mahal was built for, so is Shalimar is named after the "Gardens of Shalimar", where their love grew.
A lovely fresh scent becomes hazy and sensual when vanilla and powdery fragrance notes in the sensual base emerges.
