Valentino - Fragrances

Valentino Garavani founded the year 1959 the Italian fashion house Valentino together with his business partner Giancarlo Giammetti. Valentino is seen among many as a creative genius. His innovative and extravagant lifestyle can be read in the incredibly beautiful and elegant creations he designed during his time. As an inspiration, Valentino made use of the strong, changing and beautiful woman, both bodily and spiritual. He also had a tremendous interest in art, and was even trained in art, which influenced the design work. He constantly strived for innovation and evolution and has today achieved a status of one of the greatest fashion icons ever.

Signature Valentino was launched in 1978. It smells of hyacinth, Lily of the water and greenery. Since then, Valentino has released a number of perfumes. Valentino Donna from 2014 is one of the perfumes whose perfume bottle looks like it is dressed in shaped, angular gemstones, with a plate of gold with the logo engraved. It is a simple fragrance, with notes of Iris, rose and vanilla. The same bottle design can be found across several collections. In the collection Valentina , however, the bottle is rounded and soft, with a decorative rose. The main perfume Valentina smells of vanilla, tubes and jasmine. In the v collection, the perfume bottles are shaped like a two-dimensional diamond, and the main perfume v smells of sandalwood, figs and mandarin. The bottles design fits into the Valentino's elegant aesthetics.
