It starts pretty much the way Friday should. Ice-cold citrus. Mint. Gin.
Lorenzo Pazzaglia Gin Fusion is an Extrait de Parfum from 2026. The perfumer is Lorenzo Pazzaglia himself. And here, he has gone all in on the feeling of a cold gin and lemon in the summer sun.
The first spray sends out lemon, lime, yuzu and bergamot at full speed. Sweet orange and mandarin make the citrus juicier. Pomelo and blackcurrant add extra sharpness.
Then the mint arrives.
And yes. It understands the assignment.
The top notes are almost ridiculously full of citrus. In the best possible way.
There’s lemon, sweet orange, mandarin and orange peel. Bergamot, lime, yuzu and pomelo are also on the list. Neroli and cedrat add even more freshness. Peppermint cools everything down. Blackcurrant adds a subtle dark-fruit note.
The feeling?
A tall glass packed with ice. Citrus on the rim. Sunglasses on. Phone at three percent.
You’ll worry about that later.
As the opening settles down, the fragrance becomes greener and spicier.
The heart has green tea leaves, juniper berries and a distinct gin accord. Tarragon and lemon balm bring an herbal touch. Mate tea and spearmint keep everything fresh.
Then come lemongrass, ginger and verbena. Lily of the valley adds a light floral note.
It smells more like a cocktail bar by the sea than a liquor cabinet.
And that’s exactly the right level.
The base gives Gin Fusion more depth.
Cedarwood, vetiver and sandalwood make the fragrance dry and woody. Cardamom adds warm spice. Wild juniper keeps the gin feeling alive. Oakmoss brings a green, earthy note. Amber rounds out the finish.
So the citrus gets to stay at the party.
It just moves to another room.
Gin Fusion usually lasts around eight hours on the skin. Skin type, temperature and the number of sprays will always affect the result.
Projection is noticeable at first. During the first few hours, the fragrance is clearly present around you. Sillage ranges from moderate to strong, with the most energy during the first two to three hours.
For such a fresh citrus fragrance, it has impressive staying power.
The Extrait de Parfum concentration does its job.
Gin Fusion feels most at home in spring and summer.
It feels especially natural on warm days. Citrus, mint and tea create a cooling sensation as the temperature rises.
Wear it on holiday. To the beach. Around town. To lunch. By the pool. At an outdoor café.
And above all, on that evening that starts with “just one drink”.
We all know how that usually goes.
A few sprays work perfectly well for the office. A light dose is enough for the gym. For a summer date, it’s almost ridiculously easy to wear.
Gin Fusion is unisex.
The fragrance sits close to the middle ground between traditionally feminine and masculine characteristics. The juicy citrus may feel slightly softer at first. Gin, juniper, vetiver and woods then create a drier profile.
The result feels fresh, modern and easy to share.
Or hide at the back of the bathroom cabinet.
Your choice.
